Hidden Liver Beef Taco Meat

What is Hidden Liver Taco Meat

Welcome to a nutritious twist on a classic favorite with my Hidden Liver Taco Meat recipe! This flavorful dish combines ground beef with finely chopped beef liver, creating a hearty and delicious taco filling that’s packed with essential nutrients. Making your own taco meat at home not only allows you to control the quality and quantity of ingredients but also ensures a healthier option free from preservatives, artificial food dyes (yes, some seasoning packets use red #40!!!), or natural flavors found in store-bought versions. The addition of beef liver discreetly boosts the nutritional profile without compromising the beloved taco flavor.

Ground beef provides a rich source of protein, iron, and B vitamins, while beef liver is a powerhouse of nutrients including vitamin A, vitamin B12, and folate. This combination supports muscle growth, energy levels, and overall well-being. The Hidden Liver Taco Meat is versatile and can be used throughout the week, whether for taco nights, burritos, nachos, or even a protein-packed topping for salads. It’s an easy way to incorporate more nutrients into your family’s diet while enjoying the convenience and flavor of homemade meals.

How to Serve Hidden Liver Taco Meat

One of my favorite ways to eat this is with Masa beef tallow corn chips. I reheat the prepped beef and use the seed oil-free chips to scoop it up! Try the chips here (code REVOLVE for 20% off!).

You can also use it as a protein for burrito bowls with rice and other toppings of choice, add it to corn tortillas to make tacos, or top it on lettuce for a taco salad.

I’ve been looking for a way to sneak liver into meals for a long time. Love this idea, I might try it tomorrow night for tacos.
