Nut-Free Date Breastfeeding Bites

recipe May 03, 2023

These easy and delicious date balls are packed with great micronutrients and lots of healthy fat to give sustainable energy and boost milk supply for breastfeeding moms. I doubled the batch to make a large serving to keep in the freezer.

Ingredients:

  • 10 dates, pitted
  • 4 oz coconut butter
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger powder

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender. Pulse until the ingredients are broken down and combined.
  2. Use your hands to form into small balls. Lay them flat on a plate or baking sheet to freeze for 3-4 hours, then transfer to a bag or other storage container.
  3. These can be eaten straight out of the freezer or moved to the fridge to thaw before enjoying.
